The City of Casa will be holding a public meeting to seek input from community members on a potential grant that can help the City build a walking trail.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 5th, at 5:00 pm inside the Casa Community Building.

The purpose of this meeting is to seek input from the community on a grant project that would allow the City of Casa to include a paved walking trail inside the city park. This project would give residents a safe area where they can exercise without having to resort to walking along the highway or city streets. Funds for this project would come from the “Fun Park” grant program administered by the State if we are approved.

The meeting will occur before the regularly scheduled City Council meeting and we encourage everyone that wishes to submit ideas to come and share them with the council. If you are unable to attend the meeting, please submit your ideas in writing before the meeting so we can share them with everyone.
