Casa, AR (February 4, 2022) – The City of Casa’s volunteer fire department is working to collect fire dues. It has been several years since the department has mailed out invoices for fire dues to all residents in the fire district. There was a slight error on the invoice. The due date has the wrong date. It should be March 1st.
Here's a breakdown of the dues:
Home/Mobile Home - $30.00 Per Year
Poultry Farm - $50.00 Per Year
Business - $50.00 Per Year
If you have any questions or think there is an error on your yearly dues notice, please let us know by calling City Hall. If your call is not answered, please leave your name and number on the voicemail.
While many have voluntarily paid their dues in the past at City Hall, we thought it would be easier to give residents a mail-in option with an invoice that can be submitted to your insurance provider.
If you pay your dues, this is protection for you, you will not be billed for a call out to fight a fire at your home, business, or farm. The minimum bill for a fire call-out is typically $500.00, if you have paid your dues, there is no cost to you. If you have not received a dues notice, please let us know and we will work to make sure you are added to the list so a notice can be generated.
We’re working to ensure that our department has the tools and equipment needed to protect your homes and farms and we cannot do this without support from the community they protect.
